Statement For The U.S :
We want stronger mental health screenings and less lenient background checks for recruitment. We want corrupt police officers to be punished to the full extent of the law. They do not deserve leniency for killing innocent lives just because they hold a place of power. We want justice, we dont want police officers to only get a slap on the wrist for murder just because they are in the blue brotherhood. Being a police officer does not mean immunity to the law. Your domestic issues and childhood trauma should not be taken out on the innocent lives of Americans while on duty. We want to be kept safe not be afraid of being put in danger
Statement For The GPD :
The right to protest is protected by the U.S Constitution and this assembly is not made with the intent of malignant behaviour directed towards our local police department. This assembly is made to call attention to the issues in our current climate and all over the United States. The abuse of power is not something we can stand by and ignore. We have hope that you will do what you can to keep Goodyear safe. Respect our rights.

This is a PEACEFUL PROTEST
If you see anyone going out of their way to begin violence please do not interact with these people, record their actions and STAY OUT OF IT. The Goodyear Police Department has not hurt the community as of now and they do not deserve to be attacked. We hope we can trust the GPD to keep our protestors safe from the corrupt.

The location is set in an area without retail business FOR A REASON. It is set there to avoid unjust looters trying to take advantage of the movement.

Please stay at reasonable distance AWAY from the police building
Incompetent police officers are known to act on fear and misjudgment, all it takes is one bad apple to drive everything out of control.
Do Not bring weapons EVEN FAKES
Bring water and be aware of the temperature.

If you are asked by the media what you are protesting for, we are here for POLICE REFORM, POLICE BRUTALITY AND BLM.
Keep in mind that:
Police academies should not take such a short amount of time to complete. Policemen need to have a better understanding of the law, of health, the people and themselves.
